Home again, home again, jiggedy jig. . .

We arrived home last night from our 3 week adventure in Kyrgyzstan. For someone who fancies herself a writer, I can't even begin to find the words to express how incredible this experience has been. I will try to share some of it with you all through future blog posts and photos. While I am happy to be home again, I also miss the beauty and starkness of Kyrgyzstan, the hospitality of its people, and the slower pace of life there.

Oh, and the fresh fruits and vegetables in the bazaar. To steal a line from a favorite movie: "The produce alone was worth the trip."

My body and brain are still adjusting from moving through 10 time zones, and I can barely control my fingers on the keyboard, so nothing extensive or profound from me tonight.

I hear the bed calling my name. . .

  1. Welcome home. We got in last night, about 12:30 am this morning actually.
