The Between is close to done. I have the final few thousand words to finish and I know how those scenes need to go.
It's a good feeling. I'm proud of this story. Yes, it's still only a first draft, and yes, I already know there are a few continuity issues related to some of the secondary characters that I need to fix, but all that is workable.
I'll be putting this one in the hands of a few first readers and then it's take a deep breath time and let the ideas percolate for what's next.
Damn, but writing is a beautiful thing. I get to make stuff up--how cool is that??!
