MindBlind at 62K

The writing is moving slowly, but moving. I like where the story is going and how the characters have really come into their own.

This is a far more psychologically complex story than 'Wings' and is harder to write. I'm reaching a 'candy bar' scene that I've been waiting to write for months now. I've been researching about the 'stockholm syndrome' in which captives begin to bond with their captors. Things are heating up for poor Kathryn.

Two nights ago, I had an epiphany in the shower (one of my favorite thinking places) and I now know exactly how the story will end.

Just need to get there.

For all of you out there working on your own novels, happy writing.

  1. Awesome, glad to hear that the final arc has come to you! That is my favorite part is when you see the end, and know that it will fall into place. I just had that happen with the short story I am hoping to post for August. Anyways, can't wait to see how it all turns out, and all I have to say is poor Kathryn;)
