I went back over "Wings of Winter" and did some additional revision. There were two places in particular where I could 'raise the stakes' for my characters and increase the tension. Now, I think I'll 'put it to bed'.
4 query letters have been sent today. I've done the best job I know how to do in creating this novel. I've worked hard and it has been one of the most joyous projects I've ever been involved with. Now, I send it out to the world and hope that the themes, the characters, the narrative resonate with an agent.
In september, I will begin the next novel project, working title "The Baker Street Irregulars". Stay tuned!
