The new novel has undergone a name change to reflect the shift in its focus. I may still write a book about "The Baker Street Irregulars," but this story has little in common with that title. So the working title is now "MindBlind." Chapter one is complete and I'm waiting for feedback from my crit group.
I'm very unsure about this one. I think the idea is solid and the conflict will work. I'm just not sure I've found the right 'voice' for the story. I'll keep going and see how where it takes me in 3rd person, focusing on the 2 major points of view. First person is also an option, but I think it would need to alternate between Isabel and Hallowell, rather than just through one or the other.
