There is No Justice in Lowell

I have been a registered voter since I was 18, but have never served jury duty. (Was called once way back when when I lived in NY, but at that time, physical therapists were deferred because of an acute PT shortage). A few weeks ago, I received my first real jury duty summons. I was told I was an alternate and should call the night before to confirm.

I dialed the toll free number and listened to the recording. I had to listen through twice before I could be certain I had heard correctly:

No jurors are needed tomorrow in Lowell, no regulars, no alternates.

I guess there *is* no justice in Lowell tomorrow.

  1. I am afraid I must disagree.
I have done JD in Lowell, and Justice Was Served.
